Well, the cool kids are hanging out in Flagstaff at the Coconino County Park.
We have booked the Carnival Lot just outside the Ft. Tuthill Campground adjacent to the historic Quad for a “Just Dry Camping” experience in the pines.
This is a fully self-contained camping experience – there are no facilities, bathrooms, showers or trash services available so Pack It In – Pack It Out. Get your green on with reusable containers, water conservation and waste management. And no, you may not burn your trash. That’s disgusting.
If the neighbouring campground is open there may be potable water and a dump station available for a nominal $10 fee.
This will be a super opportunity to prove we are truly, self-contained, high achieving Airstream travelers.
Bring your finest Cinco de Mayo and Fiesta outfits, accessories and beverages to celebrate in style. Need help? Amazon got you covered! But then again, with the Go Green sub-theme, maybe don’t go too trashy so you can use it again.
