Moab Downtown Rally Report

The Four Corners Unit rolled into Moab, Utah, for a sun-soaked rally surrounded by red rock vistas and endless adventure. Nineteen gleaming Airstreams and thirty-three enthusiastic travelers – including a warm welcome for several solo adventurers – gathered to explore one of the Southwest’s most iconic destinations.

Upon arrival, guests received welcome bags brimming with local information and maps highlighting Moab’s must-see attractions. Rally-goers spent their days wandering the charming downtown, venturing into Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and exploring the Needles District and Dead Horse Point State Park.

Each morning began with the comforting aroma of Cowboy Coffee, brewed by hosts Marc and Karyl Yeston. Drawing on their years of rafting experience on the Colorado River, the Yestons shared their tried-and-true method for making the perfect camp coffee—strong, simple, and delicious.

A highlight of the weekend was a half-day rafting trip down the Colorado River. With three rafts full of Airstreamers, the group enjoyed a picnic lunch along the shore and were treated to the unforgettable sight of a herd of 17 bighorn sheep grazing along the cliffs.

Evenings brought the group together around the campfire for s’mores and stories. Marc Yeston gave an engaging talk on public lands, emphasizing the importance of stewardship and protecting the wild places that make travel so meaningful.

The Moab Rally was a perfect blend of adventure, camaraderie, and connection with nature—another unforgettable chapter in the Four Corners Unit’s journey together.
