We gathered at Picacho Peak State Park for the 17th New Years Eve Rally

We started the rally this year on Saturday December 28, and we went to Wednesday January 1.

The weather Gods were in our favour as we had perfect weather with sunny days in the mid 70s and mild evenings in the 40s this year. We started off with a Happy Hour Mixer and served Louis and Sergio’s famous Italian Beef Sandwiches and delicious sides and appetizers.

We had a group of folks brave the hike to the Peak this year and everyone made it back a little tired but in one piece.

We gathered and visited around bonfires each evening of the rally.

On Sunday Evening we had the BBQ Grills going and everyone showed off their pitmaster skills with an open BBQ.

Monday started off with our Coffee and pastries and two vendors in attendance: CoolRVEverything.com and We Are Airstream attended with a 2025 30’ International for everyone to check out.

Monday evening, we had an epic game of Left Right Center that was the largest we have had. We used 5 picnic tables, and we had people spilling out of the ramada. Tamara Rodriguez proved to be the big winner of over $100.00 in the Center. The game went well over an hour.

Tuesday brought the best day for weather; we started off the day with coffee and pastries and a raffle drawing by We Are Airstream of Chandler. The winning ticket was to Claus and Claudia who were joining us from Germany.

We gathered at 2:00 PM for the always anticipated White Elephant Gift Exchange with a Margarita and Bloody Mary Bar for refreshments. It proved to be another entertaining and lively event that went for nearly 3 hours this year.

We had our final bonfire and there was a hardy group that made it to midnight to ring in the New Year. All in all, it was a great Rally!

We had 84 people in attendance this year which is roughly 42 Airstreams.

The Pillowcase project had to be cancelled this year due to the dreaded Flu Bug unfortunately.

Keep the Date for New Year’s Eve 2025!
