4CU April Update
Hey there 4CU!
Can you believe this wonderful spring weather? Well, it is wonderful if you’re taking advantage of the unseasonable temperatures to explore Santa Fe instead of melting in the valley. Isn’t this why we all have our Airstreams? Get away to somewhere more hospitable on the spur of the moment? Speaking of which the rally season is all revved up and firing on all cylinders! Get away this weekend to Cottonwood, or get more adventure per gallon by going back-to-back with Chama and Angel Fire rallies!
In this edition, we welcome two new affiliate member couples to our community and give you a big update from our rally committee!

Rally Committee Update

There is a lot to look forward to, as we enter the summer rally season. Spring has come early to the Four Corners with many of us looking forward to our late spring, summer and fall rallies.
We understand that some of you may be re-thinking some longer summer trips, due to fuel costs. If that is the case for you, look at all the rallies within the Four Corners region. We are confident that there is a rally for you.
The Rally Committee is thrilled to announce that Four Corners Unit members, Meme and Michael Eberspacher and Alan and Genie Shupe have stepped forward to host and co-host the rally to be held in August 2026 at Priest Gulch RV Park and Campground. This rally is a perfect stop over on your way to the International Rally in Minot, ND. This is a smaller rally with 15 FHU sites. They are planning a fun-filled rally with some activities and plenty of free time for you to enjoy this beautiful part of Colorado. Look for rally information and registration coming soon.
The Rally Committee is working on the final details for the Route 66 Centennial Caravanette, 11 September 2026 – 23 September 2026. There are five stops planned: Tucumcari, Albuquerque and Gallop in New Mexico, and Winslow and Williams in Arizona. This event will accommodate 25 rigs, with all stops offering electric and water service, and most offering full hook-ups.
There will be opportunities to experience these iconic Route 66 stops on your own, or as a group through guest speakers and shared meals. Many thanks to the three members who have stepped forward to host three of the stops. The rally committee is looking for two more hosts. Won’t you be a part of the Route 66 Centennial team?

The 4CU Route 66 Unit Caravan to commemorate the Centennial of Route 66. There are 5 stops planned and the rally committee is looking for members to step forward and help with the 3 stops in NM (Tucumcari, Albuquerque and Gallup) and 2 stops on AZ (Homolovi, and Winslow).
Hosts are needed for two stops! — Want to Volunteer? All the hard work has already been done by the caravan committee, we just need someone to act as a point of contact for each stop.
