Dead Horse Ranch State Park  
Rally Dates: 9-12 April 2026

Registration Opens Here at 8am Saturday, 14 Feb 2026

Join us as we celebrate the 19th anniversary of the very first 4CU rally! That first rally was held on 16-18 February 2007 at Dead Horse Ranch State Park.

The celebratory theme is Spring Break at the Ranch at the gorgeous group site. This state park really has it all! Hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, lagoons, quick access to Cottonwood’s Historic Old Town, the Verde Canyon Railroad, ancient ruins, Sedona, historic Jerome mining town, and the Valley Verde River.

There are plenty of tours available that allow for adventure and exploration.

Here are just a handful of awesome points of interest in the immediate area:

PLANNED ACTIVITIES

Please bring firewood for our campfires.  

Bring 3 food items (cans/dry goods) per person for the local food bank. Each contributor will receive a chance to win a door prize!

  • 7pm Campfire with S’Mores

Friday

  • 8-9:30am Coffee and Light Breakfast Fare
  • 3:30-4:30pm Book Club (The Drift Fence – Zane Grey)
  • 5:30pm Optional BBQ – Prime Rib or Shrimp!
  • 7pm Games, Campfire

Saturday

  • 8-9:30am Coffee and Light Breakfast Fare
  • 5pm Heavy Appetizer Potluck
  • 7:30pm Movie (The Drift Fence) with Popcorn
  • 7:30pm Campfire

Sunday – Departure Day

  • 8-9:30am Coffee and Light Fare
  • Bid Farewell!

RALLY & CAMPING FEE

$25/person Rally Fee

$20 per person optional BBQ
Select prime rib OR shrimp (includes baked potato, salad, dessert)

$77/trailer (3 nights)
The camping fee is part of your registration that 4CU has paid up front. Please Do not contact the park.

In addition to the 23 group sites, up to 3 electric sites may register for the rally by first obtaining your electric site through park reservations.

Please note that fees for this rally are not refundable.

CAMPSITE INFORMATION

  • 23 Dry Camping Sites (and 3 electric sites)
  • This is dry camping so, no hookups!
  • Water Fill and Dump is available
  • Other amenities– restrooms, showers, ramada with electricity

CANCELLATION POLICY

As with all Four Corners Unit rallies we are unable to offer refunds.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Upon rally release on registration day:

  1. Complete the registration form including the optional BBQ with selection of either Prime Rib OR Shrimp for each attendee.
  2. Pay the rally fee, optional BBQ fee, and camping fee. Submit the registration form.
  3. If you are planning to book an electric site, you must make that booking first through the park, before registering for the rally.
