Let’s get together over Father’s Day weekend in beautiful northern New Mexico! The Angel Fire RV Resort is a beautiful campground with many amenities such as concrete RV pads, full hook-up sites, waffles brought to your rig for breakfast, two pickleball courts, horseshoes, and a nice dog park… just to name a few!

Additionally, during our rally, the village of Angel Fire has a hot air balloon festival, a craft fair, and Mimosas on Main Street. The Farmer’s and Artisan’s Market begins its season on Sunday morning.

You can:

• Ride the ski lift to the top of Agua Fria Peak where there is a great view and restaurant as well as an 18-hole disc golf course and mountain biking down (or just ride the lift back down!), (Ed note: Angel Fire / Taos area is home to some legendary riding opportunities and I’m dead jealous we can’t attend!)
• Explore hiking trails and fishing opportunities in the neighbourhood,
• Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that is near the campground,
• Take a day-trip drive around the northern New Mexico Enchanted Circle, or
• Drive to Cimarron to visit the historic (and haunted) St. James Hotel with bullet holes in the tin ceiling in the bar from the wild west days.

While the finer details remain to be confirmed, here’s our current agenda!

PLANNED ACTIVITIES

Thursday – Arrival Day – 12 June 2025

• Check in time: 1:00 p.m. Check in at the Gate House to receive site information.
• 5:00 p.m. Happy Hour get together. Bring appetizers and your favourite beverage to our room in the Club House.

Friday

• Coffee and fruit. Location to be announced. You can order a complimentary waffle from the resort be delivered to your rig.
• Balloons Over Angel Fire – The balloon launch area is about a mile from the RV Resort. Join our hosts to walk over to see the balloons launch or ride your bike or admire them in the air from your rig. (The time to walk over will be announced when we see the Balloon Festival schedule.)
• Time on your own to explore the area.
• 5:00 p.m. Informal evening social hour – bring a beverage and drop by the hosts’ buddy site for a chat before listening to live music at either the Club House or Frontier Park.

Saturday

• Coffee and fruit. Location to be announced. You can order a complimentary waffle to be delivered to your rig.
• Balloons Over Angel Fire followed by Arts and Crafts Market and Mimosas on Main Street.
• 5:00 p.m. Informal evening social hour – bring a beverage and drop by the hosts’ buddy site for a chat before listening to live music at the Club House

Sunday

• Coffee and fruit. Location to be announced. You can order a complimentary waffle to be delivered to your rig.
• Balloons Over Angel Fire
• Time on your own to explore the area.
• 5:00 p.m. Father’s Day Potluck Dinner in our room in the Club House.
  – Barbecued brisket provided by the hosts.
  – This is a Structured Potluck (see below) so, you’ll see a potluck sign up when you register for a dish to bring.

Monday – Departure Day – 16 June 2025

• Check out time is 11:00 a.m.

RALLY & CAMPING FEE

$90/trailer/day (+Tax) Camping Fee (4 nights = $360.00 + tax) payable directly to Angel Fire RV Resort

• Our group members can reserve a site up to one week prior and one week after the rally dates for the $90 + tax per night rate.

CAMPSITE INFORMATION

• 25 full-hookup sites are available
• Included amenities include showers, bathrooms, laundry, hot tub, large dog park, walking trail around the park, two pickleball courts, horseshoes, live music, and a clubhouse.

CANCELLATION POLICY

As with all Four Corners Unit rallies we are unable to offer refund of the Rally Fee.

Angel Fire RV Resort Campground Cancellation Policy 

$50 cancellation fee ($100) for buddy sites will apply to all cancellations. Canceling 72 hours prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancelling within 72 hours of your arrival, your deposit is nonrefundable. No-shows will also forfeit your deposit.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. Upon rally release on registration day, you must first sign up and pay the rally fee. You will then receive a super-secret code to unlock the camping confirmation de-coder ring at Angel Fire RV Resort.
2. Telephone the Angel Fire RV Resort (575-377-4472) and book your site by telling them you are with the Four Corners Airstream Group and give them the super-secret de-coder ring code.
3. Deposit: 50% of the total cost is due when Booking. The remaining balance is payable to the RV Resort upon arrival

What’s a structured potluck?

Your wonderful hosts are providing the brisket and just like with the McDowell Rally, we want to make sure we have a great spread of food for the Father’s Day Dinner. So, when you register for the rally you’ll see an extra selection box where you will choose whether you’re bringing: Appetizer, Side Dish, Salad, Dessert, or Bread. There’s a limit of 5 of each, first come, first served.

Please bring enough of your contribution to feed at least 12 people.
