Rally Dates: Thursday, 10-13 April 2025 (Thursday-Sunday)

Rally Registration Opening Date – 4 January 2024, 8am-ish

Long have we talked about holding a rally at Bisbee. “We should rally at Bisbee!” “Bisbee would be an awesome rally location!” “Someone should look into Bisbee!” and similar refrains have been commonplace around the campfire of rallies past. Well, here it is! The rally committee secured 17 sites at Queen Mine RV Park in Bisbee and Catherine and Bruce Stevenson jumped up and down, waving their hands, screaming “pick me! pick me!” when the call for a host went out. So, thank you Stevensons!

Now, without further ado, (who am I kidding, there’s sure to be more ado) here are the details as they stand today.

We’ll rally the wagons at the Queen Mine RV Park located just a short 5-minute walk from “downtown” Bisbee and only a few hundred yards from the Queen Mine tour headquarters – a highlight of any visit to Bisbee.

Located about 115 miles SE of Tucson, Bisbee is a quaint, but vibrant, gold-rush type town with loads of quirky shopping, restaurants, galleries, brew-pubs and eclectic features like magic shows and a Circus-Arts Yoga–Dance studio.

There are also 7 hiking trails nearby including the Bisbee 1000 (the Great Stair Climb) right in town. For the truly adventurous, there is an incredibly scenic dirt road drive through the Coronado National Forest and San Rafael State Natural Area to Nogales via Montezuma Canyon Road, Lochiel Rd and Duquesne Rd. [Editor’s note: Jen and I have driven half of this from the Nogales side back to Patagonia. Unforgettable!!)

The Queen Mine RV Park campground is on a hill overlooking the town and surrounding area. Full hookups including cable and wi-fi are available for $50/ night (10% discount for cash or check).
