Chili Run Rally Report

The Four Corners Unit’s Annual Chile Rally in Silver City, New Mexico was held August 22-25 at Rose Valley RV Ranch with 34 Airstreamers attending.

Arrival day brought a happy hour with great snacks and margaritas flowing.

The rally included hikes each morning. Daytime was left open for folks to enjoy the wonderful weather and visit the local sites.

One of the most popular sites being the Lady of Guadalupe Benedictine monastery located just out outside Silver City.

Friday, we had a potluck at the Old Courthouse in Pinos Altos, New Mexico and drinks at the Buckhorn, an old saloon and opera house from the 1850s. On Saturday night, some of the campers enjoyed beverages at Silver City’s newest brewery and then we all met for wood fired pizza at Whiskey Creek Zocalo.

Here are some more of the photos taken by our wonderful members.

Thanks to all the attendees! We really had a terrific group.
