Yes indeed! If you haven’t had the pleasure of being entertained by Amber Nordgaard then for no other reason put Tucson Unplugged 2023 on your calendar this November. She’s such a great entertainer.

Amber last played for the 4CU at the Patagonia Rallies in 2021 and 2022 playing a mix of original songs and crowd favourite covers. Sensational!

9 – 12 November 2023 | Catalina State Park | Tucson, Arizona

Remember when a vacation meant you waved goodbye and said, “I’ll call you when I get back”? Relive the good times dry-camping with minimal mobile coverage at this fall’s Tucson Unplugged Rally.

Catalina State Park is an absolute favourite of the hosts and indeed, many 4CU members, with so much available right from the campground and nearby:

  • Hike? Check
  • Bike? Check
  • World-class epic MTB trails? Check
  • Interpretative hikes to historic ruins? Check
  • Ranger-led Interpretive programs? Check (we hope! ha!)
  • Time to chill and visit? Check
  • Easy access to North Tucson? Check

This is a relaxing rally. Time to do what you like, maybe discuss a book, play some cards, Yahtzee or even work on a project. The choice is yours. This. Is. Camping.

We have booked the Gila Monster and Flycatcher group sites, perfect for DRY GROUP camping with a shower/bathhouse right beside the campsite. This area is also the only location in the park which offers the opportunity for a campfire!

Mt Lemmon Glowing

We have room for 30 rigs in these private group areas. Our group ramada has one solar light, tables and charcoal grill. We share the shower house with two hosts on the premises as well as any guests staying at another adjacent group area.

There are two free dump stations in the park.

Please come with full water tanks. The park has potable water but the Arizona State Parks often have water supply issues.

There are no assigned sites so we will file in as trailers arrive.  IMPORTANT: Should you have a personal limitation and need to be closer to the bathhouse, please get in touch and let us know ahead of time.

Should you need electric/water sites for personal necessity, campground areas “A” and “B” have full hook-up sites but you will need to register online through AZ Parks and pre-pay your daily night fee based on current rates. Let us know which site you have reserved.
