Rally Date: 19-22 October 2023

Reg Opens: Saturday, 10 June 2023

Caballo Lake State Park is considered one of the top 10 state parks in New Mexico.

We will be camping at the Riverside Campground group section which has pull- through sites with electricity and water.

Sites are $14 which you will pay upon arrival.

We are within a short walking distance of the Rio Grande River with such recreational activities as fishing, hiking (nearby trails), rafting, kayaking, and biking.

Twenty miles south of the park is Hatch, New Mexico, widely known as the “best chili place in the world” for growing a wide variety of peppers – a New Mexican cuisine staple. Have lunch at Sparky’s which is best known for their green chili cheese burgers.

Venture nineteen miles north, to Truth or Consequences, a town named after the game show, where you can take a relaxing soak in one of the many hot springs, visit one of the craft breweries, or learn more of the New Mexico culture at the Geronimo Springs Museum.

On Friday night, if you choose, we will have dinner at Arrey’s restaurant. It’s a small, cozy restaurant so we are limited to 25 people. We’ve booked two sittings, 5 to 6:30 and 6:30 to 8pm. Choose your sitting time on the rally reg form. Their menu includes Mexican, American, and on Fridays, a 12 oz ribeye special. Please note that dinner is not included in the rally fee.

This is a relaxing rally so come chill in chili land at Caballo Lake State Park.
