Head to southwest New Mexico for our 5th Annual Chile Run. Silver City is the gateway to the Gila Wilderness, our nation’s largest wilderness.
Plan on joining us Thursday Aug 24 to Sunday Aug 27. We have some activities planned for those interested.
As we get closer, we will be asking attendees about their interests. Deadline for your registration is Aug 1. This is an Airstream Club rally. If you are not a member, but own an Airstream, and would like to attend as a Guest, please contact the hosts.
If you would like to come earlier or stay longer you are welcome to do that, just let the folks at Rose Valley know your plans. If you arrive early and would like to, we can put together a dinner or meet at a local restaurant.
Thursday Evening 5:30 Welcome Happy Hour at the Group Area. Bring your beverage and a snack. We will also have the margarita machine going.
Friday Morning Tom will lead any interested campers on an easy hike. During the afternoon, spend some time exploring Silver City’s fun downtown. Visit some of the galleries and have a drink at Little Toad Creek Brewery and Distillery https://littletoadcreek.com
There is also a wonderful museum downtown. For those of you with interest in military history, take a short drive to Fort Bayard and visit this historic fort and the national cemetery there. https://www.fortbayard.org

Saturday Evening Happy Hour at 5:30 is at the Old Courthouse in Pinos Altos. Come and see the progress we are making in our restoration of this 180 year old building. We can share a potluck dinner with some more margaritas
Every Morning there will be coffee with muffins and fruit in the group area. Early Bird Tom Kirk will have that going by 7:00.
