Rally Report – 9 March 2023

Perhaps you listened to our Airstream International President, Eric McHenry speak during his “Campfire Chat” last night. Notable was his recognition of dry camping rallies. There’s a growing interest towards relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors while taking advantage of the self-contained advantages our Airstreams offer.

I’m proud to say that your Four Corners Unit has been at the forefront of this movement with our sold out rallies at Picacho Peak, Catalina State Park, McDowell Mountain Regional Park and Dead Horse Ranch for over 10 years.

And we now have a new venue at COCONINO COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS in Flagstaff, AZ .

Eclipse Rally

More spaces have been opened up by the winery and we are trying to get all the wait list people registered before opening up and advertising to a wider audience.

The waitlist will be purged on 03/14/2023, after which time we will be re-opening registration later next week.

Colorado Club has rally openings!

Looking for something to fill your calendar 24-29 March? Join the Colorado Unit in Carlsbad, NM at White City RV Campground. Currently, they have 4 full hook ups and 10 dry camping sites available. There are some great activities planned including:

• Ladder Ball/Corn Hole Tournament,
• Hamburger and bratwurst BBQ including Dawn’s Chocolate Chip cookies,
• An informal trip to Guadalupe National Park and Living Desert State Park,
• And trips to the Cavern, of course.

[Editor’s note: Carlsbad Caverns are freaking awesome, so if you haven’t been… Also, Guadalupe National Park is a pretty cool park and the hike up the mountain is very popular with several other shorter, less intense, day hikes as options.]
