We are excited about the rally line up so far; there are still some months that do not have a rally scheduled, so if you have an idea for a rally, please send us an email and let us know<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Rallies cannot happen without hosts or co-hosts, if you are interested in hosting one of the following rallies, step up and sign up. Hosting a rally is a great way meet new people and to \u201cgive back\u201d to the 4CU. We even had to turn the heat on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once again, our hosts, Julia and Bill of Sky Mountain Resort, were exceptional, and we are excited about the potential for future collaborations with them. Their resort, set amidst the stunning Chama Valley, is a location we can’t wait to return to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Tony from Tierra Wools provided another informative and engaging tour, showing us the spinning and dying process up close. One of her weaving students even gave us a live demo of her loom and patiently answered many questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Most people in the group purchased something from their retail shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The rain came fast and furious on Friday evening, but our members forged on with happy hour and our scheduled art project, Airstreams in Art. <\/em>There was a lot of paper ripping and modge podging, resulting in some fun works of art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On Saturday, we divided up into groups and explored the Abiquiu area. Some people visited the Purple Lavender Farm and Ghost Ranch, while others went hiking or checked out Georgia O\u2019Keeffe\u2019s home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Don and I want to thank everyone for coming and supporting another relaxing weekend in Northern New Mexico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n back to top<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n And that’s a wrap! Colorado Airstream Club has invited the 4CU to join them at the Westcliffe Bluegrass Festival Rally, located in Westcliffe, CO. <\/strong>The 4CU hosted this rally a few years ago, and the Colorado Unit is now hosting it. They are a fun group and there is one spot left. The music is great, with a beautiful venue. Email John Eisemann for details<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n
The Region 11 (the 4CU is part of Region 11) dinner is being planned for October 8th, <\/sup>at 6:00 pm. There are currently 199 Region 11 members attending the International Rally, but only 80 people have signed up for the dinner. If interested in attending the Region 11 dinner, contact John Holly<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
Join us at Catalina State Park in Southern Arizona for another weekend of bike riding, music, and just plain hanging out. Registration Opens 20 July 2024 (Note that your humble editor got the date wrong in the rally announcement earlier this week, the correct rally dates are 7-10 November!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
