Tell us you’re game.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hey members!<\/p>\n\n\n\n A couple of days ago we asked for your help<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Response? Crickets. Not even a whisper in the wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Y\u2019all said, \u201cmore rallies\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Well, we\u2019re trying, but the same 4 hosts can\u2019t host 12 rallies a year – c\u2019mon, y\u2019all know this to be true. And, y\u2019all know our rallies are pretty chill and we\u2019ll give you all the support you need. It’s your call if the rally is chill, simple and quiet or a highly organized affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re doing a ton of work to get more rallies on the calendar but we can\u2019t do it without hosts. This is a pretty easy gig, but it\u2019s essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We currently have a rally site booked in Chama, NM for 16-19 June, but we don’t have a host to finish the organization and push it across the finish line. We’re days away from having to cancel this rally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here’s the ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n That’s it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n As much or little work as you want it to be. It’s not hard. It’s a ton of fun. You aren’t alone in the wilderness. An entire team is there to help and support you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, what do you say? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Yeah, I knew you’d agree. Here’s the link, tell us you’re up for it<\/a> and we don’t have to cancel this great rally before it even gets started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For years people have been providing feedback that it’s hard to get into rallies. It’s a huge hassle to get into campgrounds in general. And, why aren’t there more rallies?<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the past a rally only happened if someone got up the moxie to find a great location, identify a campsite, make booking arrangements, sometimes even paying out-of-pocket to secure the site, and just generally doing a lot of logistical work to get a rally set up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In response to the demand for more rallies, your leadership team has done a ton of work this year. A decision was made to act fast and book sites of general awesome-ness when they were available with the goal of getting to 12 rallies per year – a rally every month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The result is that we’re booking some rally sites first and assigning a host second.
