We are super-excited to announce the launch of the Four Corners Unit News site

Okay, maybe we are more excited than the average member, but here’s what really useful about this.

We use MailChimp, a bulk email marketing service, to communicate with you because most email servers react with aggressive hostility to email with many, many addressees – IE the mail doesn’t get through and dissipates in the net like so many 1s and 0s.

One drawback has been that every time we want to communicate with you, our members, we had to create unique email campaigns in MailChimp.

Another disadvantage of using MailChimp in this way meant a lot of work to create each email to be distributed and no way to easily see/find/read old news or even recent or current news if you missed or misplaced the MailChimp email – like when aggressive spam filters send it to the dungeon for extreme punishment.

The solution!

All news to you, the members, will now be posted and hosted at www.fourcornersunit.com/news

An auto-magic robot executive assistant – okay a wee programme at MailChimp – checks for new news every day and will send you an email with the contents of any new news posting every morning after new news has been posted. (I’m not sure, can I get new news into a single sentence more times than that without incurring the wrath of my 12th Grade English teacher?)

The news stills comes to you via MailChimp and might still be languishing in your spam or junk or promotions folder(s) in your email app, but if you ever think you’ve missed some news or can’t find news, you can just pop over to www.fourcornersunit.com/news and find it!
